MTV brought a few schemers on-board to host conception sessions to come up with creative & strategic promotion for their new programming this year. Out of the sessions came creative advertising ideas for their program installments "The Woodies", "America's Best Dance Crew", "Catfish", and "Teen Mom 2". Ultimately, we were contracted to fulfill directon, production, and editing of our ideas for these concepted ideas. This is the result that went into national circulation.
Although each slot is different in artistic style, we made sure that they all followed the "less is more" strategic approach we decided to go with when creating these commercials. The idea was to have copy-centric ads with only 1 core image and/or prevalent style–therefore to enforce the message directly vs. indirectly. Do you think you cans ee the strateg within each example?
